Thank you for joining us on the MS Walk!
Thank you for joining us for the 2019 Walk MS event. We welcomed 57 walkers to Team Benchmark and raised over $20,000! I want to thank everyone that walked with us and donated to our team, we really appreciate it. Hopefully one day soon there will be a cure for this dreadful disease!
People with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) live with hope every day, for new treatments and procedures that will put an end to the devastation caused by MS. In Minnesota, that’s over 17,000 of your friends, family, co-workers and neighbors.
Each suffers versions of the symptoms associated with the progressive effects of MS — difficulty walking, blurry vision, and back aches. Many feel consistently weak and tired, despite the vitality that surrounds them in the everyday world.
Every step we take together is a step closer to finding a cure. When you participate in Walk MS, you are making an impact in the lives of people affected by MS. Together, we become a powerful force. Together, we will end MS forever.
Will you help us too?
Walk MS has helped provide the research that leads to more therapies and treatments today than at any other time of history. There were no disease-modifying therapies available to patients when the national walk was launched in 1988. Today there are options at every stage.
Your personal fundraising will be augmented by a $150 donation from Benchmark, up to $10,000, just for walking with our team.
Who gets MS and why are questions that cannot be answered. MS is different for everyone. What we do know is that great progress continues to be made through research and some day MS will be distant memory. Help us make it so.
