From Airport Riding the Light Rail:
At the airport, proceed toward Baggage Claim, then follow the signs to the Light Rail Station.

In Downtown Minneapolis get off the train at the Government Plaza Station (in front of City Hall, between 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue). The train at this point will be traveling down 5th Street.
From Highway 394 West:
Take 394 East to the 12th Street Exit to Hennepin Avenue, turn left. Stay on Hennepin to 10th Street South, turn right. Turn left on 3rd Avenue South. We are on the corner of 3rd Avenue and 9th Street.

Take 94 West to 11th Street Exit, to 3rd Avenue, turn right.

Light Rail Transit Directions
Light rail service to and from the airport is available. Trains stop at both the Lindbergh and Humphrey Terminals and connect travelers to 15 other destinations, including downtown Minneapolis to the north and the Mall of America to the south. If you are traveling to the Benchmark Reporting Agency office in downtown Minneapolis, you will depart the light rail train at the Nicollet Mall stop. Benchmark offices are less then 1 block from this stop at the corner of 5th Street and Marquette Avenue.
Frequency
Light rail trains run every 7 or 8 minutes during peak hours and every 10 to 15 minutes at other times of the day. From MSP, trains can take you to the Mall of America in about 11 minutes and to the Warehouse District in downtown Minneapolis in about 25 minutes. If you have a layover and plan to take the Light Rail away from the airport, please allow time to travel and return.
Fares
Light rail fares for adults are $2.25 during rush hours (Monday through Friday, 6 to 9 a.m. and 3 to 6:30 p.m.) and $1.75 at other times. Tickets are sold at vending kiosks at the rail station.
Airport Station Locations
The Lindbergh Terminal light rail station is located below the Transit Center, between the Blue and Red Parking ramps. From the Tram Level (one level below bag claim), take the automated tram to the Transit Center. When you exit the tram, follow the signs to the light rail station, located 70 feet underground.
